BES EXPO 2025 to Showcase Future of Broadcasting at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

New Delhi [India], July 1 : The Broadcast Engineering Society (India) is set to host the 29th edition of BES EXPO 2025, India’s largest international exhibition and conference on broadcast and media technology, from July 3–5, 2025, at Halls# 8,9 &10, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

This year’s expo, themed “Transforming the Media Landscape through AI: Create, Collaborate, Monetize,” will bring together industry leaders, technology innovators, broadcasters, regulators, and media professionals from across India and around the world to explore cutting-edge technology developments in broadcast, digital media, AI integration, and immersive technologies including content development.

Organized with the support of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, and endorsed by global associations such as UNESCO, DRM Consortium, and IABM, BES EXPO 2025 will feature:

Over 5,000 national and international delegates and speakers

Live technology demonstrations in Direct to Mobile (D2M) broadcasting, digital radio, virtual studios, IPTV, OTT, AI tools, remote productions, and 5G applications including content development.

A multi-track conference program focusing on D2M, OTT, other emerging technologies, media convergence, regulatory frameworks, emerging role of AI in news and monetization strategies. But the biggest focus of the conference is likely to be on Make in India and many sessions are designed to explore opportunities for production of broadcast equipment in India. The Ministry of I&B is also keeping a watch on this development and is expecting a tangible outcome from these sessions.

Special Digital Radio session with focus on various digital standards is also on focus and is drawing immense from national and international radio industry.

With over 114,000 visitors and 300+ exhibitors expected, BES EXPO continues to serve as a vital platform for policy dialogue, business networking, and technology showcasing in the South Asian broadcast landscape.

Speaking ahead of the event, Sunil, President of BES (India), remarked,

“BES EXPO 2025 is not merely a technical exhibition — it is a dynamic platform for forward-thinking dialogue on how India and the global broadcasting community can leverage emerging technologies to transform content delivery, strengthen public service broadcasting, and unlock new avenues for media monetization.”

He further emphasized that this year’s expo will maintain a strong focus on the Make in India initiative, showcasing indigenous innovations and encouraging domestic manufacturing.

Echoing this sentiment, Aftab Ahmad, Honorary Secretary of BES (India), expressed optimism about the event’s impact, stating,
