At the same ceremony, the IFFCO Young Literary Award 2025 was presented to Mrs. Ankita Jain for her book \u201cOh Re! Kisan\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The awards were given on 30 December 2025 at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi, by IFFCO Chairman Mr. Dilip Sanghani.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-95221\" src=\"https:\/\/khabarerajasthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/b-1.jpg\" alt=\"IFFCO Sahitya Samman 2025 Awarded to Maitrey\u012b Pushpa IFFCO Young Literary Award 2025 to Ankita Jain-pnn\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>About Maitrey\u012b Pushpa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maitrey\u012b Pushpa was born on 30 November 1944 in Sikurra village of Aligarh district. Her early life was spent in Khilli village of Jhansi district. She completed her M.A. in Hindi Literature from Bundelkhand College, Jhansi.<\/p>\n<p>She has made a significant contribution to Hindi literature through her short stories, novels, autobiographical works, women\u2019s writings, poetry, plays, memoirs, and reportage. Many of her works strongly reflect rural life, agriculture, women\u2019s issues, and changing Indian realities.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-95222\" src=\"https:\/\/khabarerajasthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/c.jpg\" alt=\"Award presentation at a formal event.IFFCO Sahitya Samman 2025 Awarded to Maitrey\u012b Pushpa IFFCO Young Literary Award 2025 to Ankita Jain-PNN \" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\"><\/p>\n<p>Some of her stories and novels have also been adapted for television. She has received several prestigious awards, including the Premchand Samman, Sahitya Akademi-related honours, Sarojini Naidu Award, Mahadev Prasad Paritoshik, Mah\u0101tma Gandhi Samman, and many others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Ankita Jain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ankita Jain began her career as a research associate and assistant professor before becoming a full-time writer. Her first book, \u201cAisi Vaisi Aurat\u201d, became a Jagran\u2013Nielsen bestseller. Her other notable works include \u201cMain Se Maa Tak\u201d, \u201cBaheliye\u201d, \u201cOh Re! Kisan\u201d, the novel \u201cMohalla Salimbagh\u201d, and the children\u2019s novel \u201cAatanki Mor\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She has written the popular column \u201cMa-in-Making\u201d for Prabhat Khabar and The Lallantop, and has contributed articles and editorials to platforms such as NBT Gold, India Today, Aha Zindagi, and iChowk. She is the Director of Vaidik Vatika, an agro-manufacturing firm, and a founding member and director of Jai Jungle Farmers Producer Company, working closely with tribal women self-help groups on forest produce. She is also a professional Russian sculpture painting artist and teacher, running her art venture under the name \u201cArt &amp; Ankita\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Award<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The IFFCO Sahitya Samman was instituted in 2011 and is awarded annually to a Hindi writer whose works prominently portray rural and agricultural life. Previous recipients include Vidyasagar Nautiyal, Shekhar Joshi, Sanjeev, Mithileshwar, Shivmurti, Madhu Kankaria, Jayanandan, and others.<\/p>\n<p>The award carries a citation, a memento, and a cash prize of \u20b911 lakh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Selection and Ceremony<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The selection committee, chaired by senior writer Mrs. Chandrakanta, chose Maitrey\u012b Pushpa for her deep literary engagement with rural society, agriculture, and India\u2019s changing social reality. Other jury members included Nasira Sharma, Anant Vijay, Yatindra Mishra, Dr. Nalin Vikas, and Utkarsh Shukla.<\/p>\n<p>IFFCO Managing Director Mr. K.J. Patel congratulated Maitrey\u012b Pushpa, describing her as a writer of strong social concern, especially known for her powerful portrayal of Bundelkhand\u2019s life and women\u2019s experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman Mr. Dilip Sanghani, the chief guest, praised both awardees. He said Maitrey\u012b Pushpa\u2019s writing, rooted in personal experience, gives a rare and authentic voice to social realities. He also expressed confidence in Ankita Jain\u2019s immense future potential.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion, Flying Feathers Art Association, under the direction of Ajay Kumar, staged a theatrical adaptation of Maitrey\u012b Pushpa\u2019s story \u201cGunahgar\u201d.
